What are Value Vouchers?

The Value Vouchers offer entitles Imali Diamond members to buy discounted vouchers for a retail chain, movie tickets and more.

Members access these vouchers by logging in with their unique membership details. Once logged in, a member selects the specific voucher they would like to purchase and pays for the voucher by following the online payment prompts. Once payment has been approved and verified, a voucher PIN is sent to the member's mobile phone.

A combination of retail and discounted face-value brand vouchers is available in various denominations from participating companies and brands, including:

Terms & conditions — grocery vouchers

  • Grocery vouchers can be used at any Checkers or Shoprite Checkers store nationwide.
  • Members are limited to purchasing 2 Checkers vouchers a month.
  • A purchased voucher must be redeemed within 48 hours or it may expire.
  • No refund, credit or exchange will be issued on any expired voucher.
  • Vouchers are not redeemable for cash.
  • Paper and digital vouchers can only be redeemed in one transaction.
  • No lost or stolen vouchers will be replaced or refunded.
  • We reserve the right to cancel a voucher should we suspect fraudulent activity.

Terms & conditions — retail vouchers

  • Purchase of vouchers is limited to 1 of each offering per member on each transaction.
  • Members are limited to 2 purchases per month of each voucher offering.

Nu Metro movie tickets

  • The 2 for 1 Movies offer entitles the member to buy one movie ticket and receive the second movie ticket free at any Nu Metro outlet nationwide.
  • Movie tickets are sent to members in the form of a digital PIN.
  • Digital PINs cannot be exchanged, sold or refunded.
  • The offer is open to Imali Diamond members of South Africa who are valid customers.
  • Payment is made by VISA or MasterCard credit card, or signature debit card (CVV present). Members may only use cards listed in their own names.
  • The offer is valid for films as advertised from time to time by each Nu Metro outlet.
  • It is not valid with other Nu Metro offers, promotions, film festivals, Gold Class, Premiere Class, 3D films or twin seats.
  • Limited to 2D movies only.
  • This offer is limited to purchasing 1 ticket a month.
  • Redemption of Nu Metro digital PINs is subject to seat availability.
  • Redeemable only at Nu Metro Cinemas.
  • Digital PINs need to be requested between 08:00–16:30 Monday to Thursday and Friday 08:00–15:00.
  • Film classification rules apply and identification may be required. The cinema manager's decision is final and standard cinema rules apply.
  • Imali Diamond members are not entitled to any preferential right over other cinema patrons.
  • Imali Diamond is not liable for any loss suffered by the member when using the 2 for 1 movie benefit.
  • Any disputes pertaining to the use of the 2 for 1 movie benefit are strictly between the member and Imali Diamond.
